1 hour

About the Treatment

Lymphoedema MLD with Bandaging compression for lower limb or upper limb This treatment designed for any type of swelling to control and reduce the fluid level to the areas of concern A measurement will be applied followed by pitting test and manual lymphatic drainage. Then we will applying a brand new compression bandaging to the area that is swollen. You can take the compression bandage with you. Can be reused and washable for next time. How does bandaging help with lymphoedema? If you had surgery and/or radiation treatment for cancer, the areas that may have swelling include your feet and leg(s). Wrapping your body with bandages (compression), helps move the lymph fluid in the direction of the heart. The goal of bandaging is to: Help reduce your swelling Help prevent the swelling from getting worse The short stretch bandages that you should use are designed for patients with lymphoedema. Please read carefully before selecting this treatment ⬇️ Contraindications The two-layer compression system should not be used on patients who could potentially have an allergic reaction to any one of the following components:
